 I  loved going treasure hunting with my dad and brother. Although we never found the Spanish gold I enjoyed listening to to the stories of lost gold and treasure around the campfire. I enjoyed telling the stories more than I enjoyed climbing over the boulders and rattlesnakes. In the fifth grade we had a substitute teacher that was still in college and majored in creative writing. By the end of the week I was doing her homework for her. I worked several jobs before I was old enough for a real job in the oil fields. and became the youngest driller. After I was hurt I began to do stand up comedy and later produced two comedy albums and a music album. I was asked to write a screenplay about the oilfield and wrote my first award winning screenplay ROUGHNECKS that won MOONDANCE INTERNATIONAL!!   Since then I have won 7 screenplay contests and have 16 screenplays written.
